I'm Gregory Dollar, but most people know me as GregoryD.
My life didn't begin in a studio. It began in chaos.
Born in Burbank, California. Moved across continents before I turned eight — London, Indonesia, Spain — then back to the States. Childhood was turbulent. Unstable. But those years built something in me that no school could teach: resilience and a refusal to quit.
A second chance through adoption gave me a new trajectory. The United States Army gave me discipline. And a decision I made the day I came home gave me everything else.
I decided to create.
From Survival to Craft
I didn't go to film school. I walked into television control rooms and taught myself.
Cameras. Editing systems. Broadcast pipelines. Live production workflows. Anything I could get my hands on, I learned. Three decades of directing, producing, and editing across every format that exists.
What started as survival became craft. What started as curiosity became a system.
Today I operate as a Media Architect — someone who understands storytelling, production, technology, and audience psychology as one unified discipline.

Why AI Changed Everything For Me
I've watched this industry evolve for 30 years. New cameras. New software. New platforms. I adapted every single time.
But AI was different.
AI didn't just change the tools. It changed the math. What used to take a crew of ten and a week of post-production, I can now deliver at cinematic quality in days. Sometimes hours.
Most traditional studios are too slow to compete. Most AI creators don't have the experience to deliver.
I sit in the gap between both. That's my lane. And nobody's crowding it.
